Baltimore is one of West Cork's most charming coastal villages, and helps to make you forget the hassles and stresses of every day life. Baltimore is a picturesque tranquil village. With it's sailing club and 2 sailing schools as well as 2 diving schools, it is renowned as a water sports centre.

The pier and the harbour are the focal point of the village and there is no end of activities for all the family to enjoy. Private boat hire facilities are available at the pier. Baltimore is the main point of departure for ferries to the unique Carbery Islands. Ferries leave each day to Cape Clear, with it's incredible bird life and Sherkin which has two lovely sandy beaches.

After a fun filled day there is no better way to relax than with a good meal and a drink sitting al fresco in the village square or in the Hotel gardens while watching the sun set over the islands.
